• Ralph Heuwing was born in 1966 and holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from INSEAD. He joined The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in 1990, where he worked as a Consultant and Project Manager in Munich and Frankfurt.

• In 1996, he transferred overseas to Mumbai, India where he led the BCG India practice as Managing Director and Partner.

• Ralph Heuwing returned to Germany in 2001, as Managing Director and Partner at BCG in Munich, focusing on the German Banking Practice and Corporate Development Practice. He also served as Member of the German and Austrian Executive Team until he joined Dürr AG, where he is now responsible for Finance/Controlling, Investor Relations, Risk Management, Legal Affairs/Patents, Information Technology, Corporate Real Estate, Division Clean Technology Systems and Dürr Consulting.

• He has been Chief Financial Officer of Dürr AG since May 2007.
