• Rainer Irle, born 1970 in Germany, graduated with a degree in Industrial Engineering & Management from the University of Siegen, Germany. He also holds a Master of Science in Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden.
• He started his professional career as trainee with Deutsche Bank in 1989.
• After completion of his studies, Rainer Irle joined A.T. Kearney in 1997 as a Management Consultant.
• Since 2003, he has held various positions at Siltronic and Wacker, including Director of Strategic Planning of Siltronic, Chief Financial Officer of Siltronic Corporation, Portland (USA) and Senior Vice President Corporate Controlling at Wacker.
• Since January 2013, Rainer Irle has been Chief Financial Officer of Siltronic AG and member of the Executive Board.
